Its dashing body design was the work of the renowned artists at Pininfarina, and the highly distinctive shell retains popularity even today. About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 422mm, width: 186mm, height: 132mm. • The injection molded body offers a highly realistic recreation of the 037 form, and comes with metal-plated light cases for headlights, taillights and fog lamps. The VFR750R is a street-legal counterpart of the formidable RVF750 endurance racer which displayed remarkable potential in the world endurance championships. This bike follows the concept seen in the RVF750, including the use of space-age technology and components such as titanium, carbon-fiber, kevlar, and magnesium. It betters the earlier bikes by a wide margin. The VFR750R also uses a twin-spar aluminum box frame, Pro-Arm (rear swing arm), and a center-lock hub rear wheel. These superlative features and the RVF's racing reputation have made it a collector's item even before the first unit was off the production line. After the production termination of its successor, the S800, Honda moved away from producing front-engine/rear-wheel drive sports cars. September of 1998 saw the sensational rebirth of this type, with the announcement of the S2000. This open two seater features the traditional sports car look with a puposeful long nose/short deck styling. Futuristic headlights wrap around the side, appearing to be pulled back, poised for speed. The naturally aspirated 2.0 liter inline-4 DOHC-VTEC powerplant pumps out over 250hp, yet still manages to reduce toxic exhaust emissions to 1/10th the level of its predecessors. The positioning of the engine is also ideal, sitting just behind the front wheel axle in interest of 50/50 weight distribution. The sturdy body and superior road handling, meshed with a four-wheel double wishbone suspension and a newly developed 6-speed manual transmission, offer high tractability and synthesis between car and driver. The inside of the cabin features bucket seats, state of the art digital indicators, and a red button for starting the engine. Subaru was the first team to take advantage of the leeway, bringing out the Impreza WRC. That machine featured all aluminum horizontal four cylinder turbo engine paired with a vertically mounted gearbox. The layout placed the gearbox in a balanced position behind the front axle, heightening manerverability and ultimately contributing to a Mnufactures Championship for that year. The bulk of the improvements to the 1999 model centered around the engine and gearbox. Foremost was the adoption of an electronically controlled throttle system. This system converts the position of the throttle in to electronic signals, heightening throttle response. The Impreza WRC was also equipped with a 6-speed, semi-automatic gearbox. This system enables sudden shifting, such as from 6th to 1st gear. Work is also continuing on the development of an electronically controlled damper system. The Impreza WRC is driven by J. Kankkunen, R. Burns and B. Thiry. Kankkunen and Burns finished in 1st and 2nd place respectively at both the 7th Argentina Rally and the 10th Finland Rally. The 8th Acropolis Rally was also taken by Burns, setting the scene for an intense contest in the latter half of the season.

Following the conflict, this vehicle was widely used by most countries of the world as a small transport for the ground forces and later employed large calibre weapons systems for ground combat support. The U.S. Army first utilized this small vehicle in ground support firepower, by mounting the newly designed 105mm recoilless rifle in the rear of the Jeep. This weapon was developed to combat heavily armoured tanks and other tracked vehicles; however it was later adapted to anti-personnel operations with the development of anti-personnel shell charges. When the newer 106mm recoilless rifle came into being, it replaced the 105. This weapons system was mounted in the rear part of the Jeep, but could be also dismounted on a tri-pod for fixed use. As the old jeep became replaced with the newer M151 Ford MUTT, the 106 was also adapted to it. When the M151A2 was released during the late 70's, the model with the 106 rifle mounted was called M825. It had a beefed up rear suspension system to accept the rifles added weight of 325kg. Shortly the TOW missile system replaced the 106 recoiless rifles, as the main anti-tank mobile weapons system. Development of the TOW system began in the 1960's as a replacement for the large and heavy recoilless rifles. It was combat tested during the Vietnam conflict and proved its power and accuracy. It was further improved and finally replaced most of the 106's still in service. Officially it is called the BGM-71A; however, it is most widely called the TOW missile system which stands for Tube launched, Optically tracked, Wire guided, missile system. When the missile is fired at a target, the shooter maintains the target in the cross hairs of the sight. The infrared rays of the missile exhaust are sensed by the optical sight and the computer compensated for the speed of the target and missile, guiding it via the wire trailing back to the vehicle. A far greater percentage of hits are recorded with this system, and it is easier to operate. Maximum range for shooting is 3750m which is much greater than the 1097m effective range of the 106. Early in April 1957, a familiar looking small vehicle was seen to be running over the course with comparitive ease, and upon closer inspection it turned out to be the replacement for the well known Willy's "Jeep", the new Ford M151. Outwardly this new vehicle loos very much like its older brother. Both are small, compact, rugged, simple to operate and maintain; however, the 151 incorporates all of the latest advanced features learned during combat operations in conflicts since world war II. Features such as the newly developed OHV engine, light semimonocoque body and 4 wheel independent suspension systems allowed it to outpoint all other submitted replacement vehicles for the ageing WWII Jeep. Development for this replacement vehicle was started by the Ford Motor Company were licensed to produce the vehicle and they delivered approximately 10,000 units a year to the U.S. Army, Navy Air Force and Marines. Shortly after its adoption it was selected by most of the nations of the free world as a replacement for their own light utility vehicles. Some of the advanced features incorporated into the M151 caused problems and defects were detected in the initial shipments, among the most serious was the strength and stability of the rear suspension system which was corrected and improved in 1964 and 1970. The M151A2 now in service has added safety features like stiffer rear suspension, large blinder lamps and a two step windshield wiper, safety glass and an impact absorbing steering wheel. With its extreme versatitliy the basic M151 can be altered into a combat ambulance; radio communications vehicle; 105mm recoilless rifle transport and a launcher for the new tow missile system adopted in the late 70's. Combat experience in VietNam has shown that the Ford M151 Military Utility Tactical Truck (MUTT) is indeed a very versatile go anywhere combat weapon and is likely to remain in service for years to come with military forces worldwide. Honda revamped the Z100 park version for use on public roads, and brought out the CZ100 model which began to be exported in 1963. The first model to be marketed in Japan was the improved Z50M Monkey, which featured folding handlebars and seat for easy stowing in a passenger car. In January 2000, Honda brought out the 2000 anniversary edition of the Monkey, which sported the image coloring of the 1971 Z50Z(2) model. Just ten years prior to their 750F release, Honda opened up the field of multicylinder bikes with their now famous four cylinder CB750. Honda had won several Grand Prix motorcycle races with multi-cylinder bikes, and the CB750 was based upon these experiences. The engines worked flawlessly and provided very smooth power, and so shocked the industry that shortly many of the famous makers produced four cylinder large cubic motorcycles. Honda, of course, held the number one position in sales for many years, but then Kawasaki released their "Z" series DOHC 4 cylinder 750 bikes, and took over the number one position, relegating Honda to 2nd place. Honda, however, did not take this set back for long, and continued to improve their engines, and in 1979 released a CB750K DOHC with four valves per cylinder, a powerful 68hp, and new body styling. It was not long before Honda was again number one! The CB750F, released in June 1979 was styled after the very popular European Honda CB900F which had been copied from their racing RCB bike. This styling was new to stock motorcycles in the world. With the low positioned handle bars and rear positioned foot rests, allowed a "slouched" riding position. The style is setting the standard for the eighties. The CB750F is powered by a 4 cylinder DOHC 748cc engine with 4 valves per cylinder, and the 1981 version produces 70 brake horsepower. The bike has a double cradle frame of welded steel tubing, semi-air front suspension system, and FQV damped rear coils. Braking utilizes the dual piston caliper system, with dual discs in front and a single disc at the rear. A newly designed racing type front fender with spoiler has proved to be very popular among the bike enthusiasts. The overall styling of that unveiled in 1979, with the smooth flowing lines from tank to tail light have been retained, and it is likely that this fine motorcycle will stay at the forefront of sales for years to come. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA was developed as the lightweight, tuned race version of the 2-door coupe Giulia Sprint GT and released in 1965. 500 units were produced and in the late 1960s the works car became class champion several times in the European Touring Car Championship; also run by other racing teams, it caught many an eye at the racetrack.

The polycarbonate body sits on top of Tamiya’s fun to drive M-05 front wheel drive chassis. Over 3.5 million cars were produced from 1948 to 1990. Its reliable air-cooled 2-cylinder engine got the little front wheel drive car from A to B with little fuss, and the car could accommodate 4 adults adequately. With its soft suspension designed for off-road driving, it is said that the 2CV could traverse a ploughed field without breaking any of the eggs it carried. M-05 at a glance: The front wheel drive M-05 chassis features a lightweight, narrow, durable, and easy-assembly semi-monocoque resin frame. Gearbox, motor, battery pack, receiver, servo and ESC are positioned for optimum weight distribution and a low center of gravity. Ground-hugging 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and the 3-piece steering linkage provide stable high-speed cornering. Gun metal color 11-spoke wheels are matched with tread-patterned radial tires and feature tire inserts.

This car was used as the official car for the President of France, and achieved the overall championship in 1966 global rallies. The new MB-01 chassis continues that tradition, and allows six setups by choosing from three types of wheelbase, and front- or rear- wheel drive system. Its first body recreates the Fiat Abarth 1000 TCR Berlina Corse which was a car developed with high level tune-ups based upon the compact 2-door Fiat 600. The body is pre-painted.The muscular form had front and rear over fenders, a large radiator cover integrated with the front bumper, and horizontally-opened engine hood.
