About the Model • 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. • Length: 430mm, Width: 243mm, Height: 157mm. • Features a number of carbon fiber-reinforced parts such as upper/lower decks & central torque-splitter diff. • Lightweight wheels are fitted with hybrid spike tires. • High-capacity dampers provide the excellent suspension needed to conquer off-road courses. • Newly-designed parts such as ball differentials and universal joints give smooth power transfer. • Long wheelbase carbon fiber-reinforced chassis is fitted with center one-way. • A number of optional parts, including tires and motors are available to soup up the model even further! 4WD Model kit, Vintage Model, RE-Release, Length: 430mm, Polycarbonate Body, Hi-Cap Alum. It was an enhanced follow up release to the original Grasshopper kit. This re-release (2017) kit features a number of updates while keeping largely faithful to the original model. Its streamlined construction process makes this kit perfect for less experienced users and R/C veterans alike, while separately sold option parts can be used to enhance the model. About the Chassis A rugged ABS resin chassis is more than up to the stresses of off-road driving, and features lightweight durable plastic suspension arms, gearboxes and so on - the result is a lightweight and durable unit. Front swing axle and rear rolling rigid suspension combine for a responsive drive, while a fully enclosed gearbox is integrated with the rear axle and has a built-in differential gear to aid smooth cornering. One-piece wheels are paired with front grooved and rear spike tires for solid performance. The basic construction and design of the model remains true to the original, with various minor upgrades. Super fun off-road driving awaits with this high-performance 2WD buggy’s rugged chassis, durable suspension and TTC (Tamiya Traction Control system). About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale 2WD R/C model assembly kit. • 2.5mm thickness FRP chassis gives a low center of gravity for excellent balance. The battery pack position has been slightly enlarged. Please note it is not compatible with square-shaped battery packs. • 4-wheel double wishbone suspension employs CVA oil dampers. • Sealed gearbox features TTC, which was Tamiya's first slipper clutch and protects gears from impacts and gives stable drive by limiting wheelspin. Externally the same as on the original, it features a modernized internal design, and can be adjusted simply by removing the gearbox cover and turning the lock nut. • Efficient 0.5 module gear included. • A low-profile servo is required for this model. • High-traction front rib-spike and rear square spike tires provide superb response and awesome cornering. • Comes with durable and lightweight polycarbonate body and rear wing, plus a protective undercowl.
