Article number: 300058682 Product: 1:10 RC 1991 Audi V8 Touring (TT-02) Tamiya is delighted to announce the appearance of another classic racing car on our popular TT-02 chassis, this time the Audi V8 touring car with a 456hp 3.6-liter V8 which graced the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) in 1991. That season, it took four victories overall and carried Frank Biela to the drivers’ title. About the Model • This is a 1/10 R/C model assembly kit. • The powerful, imposing body is molded accurately in lightweight and durable polycarbonate. • Stickers are included to recreate the markings for the no.45 car driven by 1991 champion Frank Biela. Masking stickers will aid in the paint job. • Two-piece mesh wheels (Item 50548 design) have silver color rims and gold color spokes. They are paired with racing slick tires. • The TT-02 chassis is an adaptable and balanced design with excellent stability, plus features such as identical suspension arm and upright components for ease of assembly. • 4-bevel differential gears and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension make for a smooth ride. • A plethora of Hop-Up Option parts is available to tune the TT-02 chassis to your needs.

It recreates the Audi Quattro A2, which graced the 1983 WRC scene from midway through the season, contributing to driver Hannu Mikkola’s eventual Drivers’ Championship. About the Model • This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 458mm, width: 187mm. • The classic quattro A2 body is molded accurately in lightweight and durable polycarbonate. • Features separate metal-plated ABS parts for front and rear light cases, plus fog lamps. Side mirrors, wing and wing caps are molded in white ABS. • Please note that light cases are compatible with separately sold LEDs; fog lamps are not. • 5-spoke wheels are molded in silver, and paired with racing radial tires. • The TT-02 chassis is an adaptable and balanced design with excellent stability, plus features such as identical suspension arm and upright components for ease of assembly. • 4-bevel differential gears and 4-wheel double wishbone suspension make for a smooth ride. • An extensive TT-02 option parts line-up offers a number of opportunities to tune your car.

The 1992 Audi V8 Touring employed an improved 3.6-liter V8 engine, Audi’s famed quattro four-wheel drive, and an imposing body. It overcame significant ballast handicaps and showed off overwhelming strength, particularly in a podium sweep at the 1st race of the 2nd meet at the Nürburgring. Warning notices! Read carefully and fully understand the instructions before commencing assembly. A supervising adult should also read the instructions if a child assembles the model. When assembling this kit, tools including knives are used. Extra care should be taken to avoid personal injury. Read and follow the instructions supplied with paints and/or cement, if used (not included in kit). Keep out of reach of small children. Children must not be allowed to put any parts in their mouths, or pull vinyl bags over their heads.
