The DT-04 NXGEN is the consistent further development of the TAMIYA
Fighter Buggy models and THE entry-level buggy for young racers!
Since 1996, TAMIYA has been setting the standard for entry-level models
and the RC car scene with the Fighter Buggies. The DT-04 is based on the
tried and tested basis of the DT-03 but has been revised in many places.
NXGEN stands for "Next Generation", i.e. the latest generation of Fighter 2WD Buggies.
There are many new features in this model, both technically and
visually: The look is based on the popular single-seater American racing buggies with 2WD rear-wheel drive.
TAMIYA implements this with plastic parts that are already colored white, which makes painting unnecessary.
The
model can be built in 2 color variants from the kit and the driver figure with helmet makes the Fighter a real eye-catcher!
Technically, the NXGEN offers a new 3-part steering, oil pressure shock
absorbers, new axle supports, 6-edge wheel mounts at the front and rear,
new steering levers and much more! The model can be built in 2 different
wheelbases (265mm or 280mm). This is done simply by turning the front
lower wishbones and converting the steering. A short wheelbase makes the
model more agile on the racetrack and the long wheelbase enables a smoother ride.
